The idea behind Golden Ponies is a simple one. I want to help match the right ponies to the right homes. In doing so, I hope to continue building a friendly, supportive and inclusive community of pony-minded people.
I have been producing ponies and involved in the pony world for many years. In the almost four years that I have been running the business full time, it has evolved into something I am incredibly proud of. I take pride in supporting my clients to find the pony best suited to their family, requirements and set up, and matching the ponies that I am involved with to a home where they will thrive and be cherished. For me it is always about communication; I am totally open and truthful with everyone I meet and work hard to manage everyone’s expectations. I believe my reputation has been built on this approach.
Through my broker service, I am able to offer tailored and unbiased support during the buying and selling process, with the aim of making it as easy and stress free as possible. Now the business has developed and I no longer run a commercial yard I also have the flexibility to travel more, so can offer bespoke viewing and preparation for sale services too.
Living and breathing ponies day in, day out, there are two things I always seem to come back to. One, the perfect pony does not exist. They are animals so alongside their wonderful traits that make them a treasured part of the family, they usually have a quirk or two. It is often these little kooks or peculiarities that we end up loving about them the most! Two, having a pony(/ponies - they soon multiply!) is supposed to be fun!
